In the early 1990s, Quincy started cutting his own hair and gained repute as a mobile neighborhood barber. During his years of service in the U.S. Navy, Quincy continued to develop his barbering craft, and after his service, he remained focused on a long-term goal of owning his own business as a licensed barber. Having already built a substantial clientele with his ethic of personal customer service and dedication to satisfaction, Quincy moved closer to the realization of his goal when he received his licensure by the State of Virginia.
